The Austrian manufacturer of PV mounting solutions AEROCOMPACT has added a new hanger bolt set to its CompactPITCH modular system. Since it has improved the angle attachment of the CompactPITCH XWS, PV mounting rails can be positioned directly above the hanger bolt – in contrast to the current solution. “The centric load application in the axial direction of the hanger bolt prevents a superimposed bending moment. This improves the system’s ability to withstand high snow and wind loads,” explains Philipp Pejcl, product manager at AEROCOMPACT. The hanger bolt can be used for installing solar systems on corrugated fibre cement and trapezoidal sheet metal roofs.
